The Teacher Pathway is available for paraprofessionals enrolled in Camden U seeking to become an elementary school educator in Camden.
First, students complete their bachelor's degree with us through SNHU's accelerated curriculum. Teacher Pathway Fellows work specifically towards a B.A. in Communications. Stay on the cutting edge of information sharing and presentation skills to elevate your teaching.
Once you graduate as a Fellow, we help you apply for certification to teach grades K-6. The certification process starts with studying for and passing the Praxis exams, and eventually leads into a 2-year teacher prep program where students complete their professional coursework while working as a provisional teacher at the same time. Through our partnership with Camden Education Fund, Camden U will support you through all the fees and costs associated with completing certification -- saving you over $4,000 in total value.
